Born and raised in Chicago, IL...I come from a long line of Belgian Artists. My Dad, Werner J. Baeckelandt, is a world-wide artist, known for his Belgian flair, was my first art teacher. From age 3, I learned how to draw, paint, and play with art and design. I enjoy airbrushing, painting, sketching and interior design.

I have a B.A. in Art / Design from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Some of my current artwork is still on display in their main school art gallery! I have been an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Creative Project Manager, for a variety of agencies, and corporations, throughout the years.
